I would like to share a few portions of scripture that I just read that really made me say, "Wow! What an awesome God I have!"

2 Corinthians 6:4-10
But in all things approving yourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Well, it's time for me to go, so God bless you all and have a great upcoming week.

  1. Hello, Margaret! I am Rebekah, of Daddy's Girl. I found your blog off a comment you left on Under Southern Skies. It's really refreshing to find another girl who isn't ashamed of loving Jesus! Seems like most the young ladies our age these days are more interested in...other get my drift. But to find a gal who feels the same way I do on a lot of stuff is very nice. And I do mean a lot, but I am not going to say all what, because I do not want it to be on the Internet for all to see, especially as some friends of mine have been having problems in that regard. Let me just say that we are close in age, we are educated the same way (you know what I mean, I think), and share a Savior... Until recently, I was beginning to think that only adults consistently blog, and that I was about the only consistent blogging teen. I am glad that I was wrong! I guess I'll just have to start following your blog!

  2. P.S. I just discovered that we started blogging at almost exactly the same time -- the same month, and close to the same day! Wow!

    P.P.S. If you need any technical help with aspects of your blog, I have been doing a lot of experimenting lately and can probably help you out. Or maybe you know some things I don't -- in which case I may ask you!
